The company’s brief has been to discover existing archival and electronic resources in our areas of interest, and to form creative alliances that allow this material to re-purposed and crafted into books of outstanding quality. Recognizing that today’s publishers are often working in environments that preclude large investments in individual titles, our extensive content resources allow us to offer unique and high-value publications with reasonable costs and print-runs, and enable our partners to economically benefit from the prior investments made in creating the resources. An example of this is our New Atlas of Human Anatomy where a huge investment in CAT scanning and computer modeling for medical training allowed us to create a fantastic three-dimensional journey into the human body that has sold over 750,000 copies under the imprint of a dozen publishers around the world - who have profitably marketed it as general reference. Our close affiliation with the Librios Group of companies in the UK allows us to offer content management and efficient, cost-effective, conversion of any of our titles to electronic formats. We offer translation rights for virtually all of our titles, and are experienced in providing our translation partners with what they need to successfully adapt our books to their markets. Who we are John Kelly: Founder and Publisher of Barnes & Noble Books from 1980-2000, John has published over 3,000 titles in his career and has extensive experience in developing long-term publishing programs with international partners. Hal Robinson: Hal has been creating new titles for leading publishers in the UK, USA, Germany, France, Holland and other European countries since 1991.
